​I have been translating for almost two decades, first as an in-house/staff translator and then later for language schools and freelance.  I am also a qualified English language teacher, which I believe adds value to my work as a translator.

My main focus is on the translation of documents from Portuguese into English.
However, in addition to translating, I also provide revision, editing and proofreading services of documents in English, as well as PEMT.

I am a Qualified Member (MITI) of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting in both the Portuguese-English and English-Portuguese language pairs and a full member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists, a proud member of APTRAD (Portuguese Association of Translators and Interpreters), and part of the Proz.com Certified Network for the Portuguese-English and English-Portuguese language pairs.
